On the morning of March 31st, the MBA Alumni Association of Hunan University was established and the first member representative conference was held at the School of Business Administration. The conference reviewed and approved the regulations of the Hunan University MBA Alumni Association and the election methods for the first member representative conference of the MBA Alumni Association, and successfully elected the first council member. Chairman Dr Jerry Chen was invited to attend and appointed as the first council member of the Hunan University MBA Alumni Association.
In 1993, the School of Business Administration of Hunan University obtained the right to confer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, becoming one of the 26 MBA pilot colleges in China. Over the past 30 years since its formal establishment in 1994, the MBA education program of Hunan University has taken root in Hunan Province, creating diversified featured boutique projects such as "the the Belt and Road", "financial technology", "cultural and creative industries", "future scientific and creative entrepreneurs", etc., and has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents in industry, business and politics, and created far-reaching social influence and international communication power for global civilization exchange and mutual learning, major national strategic needs, and regional economic and social development, with an innovative and entrepreneurial talent training system.
Cao Shengyuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Hunan University, congratulated the university on behalf of the conference. He expressed the hope that the MBA Alumni Association will further gather alumni strength, promote alumni return, develop alumni economy, and help promote the construction of Hunan University's "Double First Class" and high-quality economic and social development in Hunan. The school will open up its mind to provide comprehensive services to alumni, connect and gather the strength and wisdom of alumni, accelerate the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces, demonstrate the "great power of the country" in the strategic achievements of education, science and technology, and talent, and demonstrate its responsibility in serving the national major strategy and accelerating the realization of the "three highs and four new" beautiful blueprint in Hunan.
Yue Junfeng, newly elected president of Hunan University MBA Alumni Association and chairman of Hunan Zhonggang Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., stated that alumni activities are an important link connecting alumni emotions. The MBA Alumni Association will further build a development community between alumni and their alma mater, using "links" and "services" as keywords to efficiently aggregate Hunan University MBA alumni resources, continuously create value for the development of their alma mater and alumni, and actively empower the economic development of Hunan region.
In the afternoon, the Lu Shang New Quality Productivity Development Forum was also held, and the attending guests gave themed presentations on topics such as "The underlying logic of digital productivity and the digital economy", "Accelerating quality and technological innovation, promoting the development of new quality productivity", "Shaping core competitiveness with new quality productivity", and "New quality productivity from the perspective of accountants". At the roundtable forum, representatives from various conferences discussed in depth how to promote the construction of a modern industrial system, focusing on major national strategic needs, the beautiful blueprint of "three highs and four innovations", the Changsha Global R&D Center, and actively participating in the "alumni returning to Hunan" activity.
